Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
Agreement
By engaging LonexLocal to carry out any work, you agree to these terms. These terms govern the provision of web design, development, hosting, and maintenance services.
Project proposals
All projects begin with a written proposal outlining scope, deliverables, timeline, and fixed price. Work commences only once the proposal is agreed in writing and a deposit is received.
Payment
A deposit (typically 50%) is due before work begins. The remainder is due upon project completion and before final delivery. Hosting and maintenance plans are billed monthly in advance.
Revisions
Each proposal includes a defined number of revision rounds. Requests outside this scope will be quoted separately before any additional work is carried out.
Client responsibilities
You are responsible for providing content, images, and feedback within agreed timelines. Delays caused by late content or feedback may affect project timelines and are not the responsibility of LonexLocal.
Intellectual property
Upon receipt of full payment, you own the final design and content of your website. We retain the right to display the project in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.
Hosting & uptime
We aim for maximum uptime but do not guarantee 100% availability. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure.
Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the project fees paid. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of revenue, or data loss arising from use of your website or systems we have built.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project with written notice. In the event of termination, you will be invoiced for work completed to date. Deposits are non-refundable.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
